With 65 years of combined experience, our team at Gate Lodge Dental always puts their patients first, ensuring that every visit is welcoming. Our staff offers teeth whitening, composite bonding, general dentistry, smile makeovers, braces, and clear aligners for all patients.
Conor O'Hare (Principal Dentist)
Conor graduated from the University of Dundee in 2014 and returned home to his native NI. He spent time working in private practice in New Zealand and Templepatrick, before taking ownership of Gate Lodge Dental in October 2022.
Conor enjoys all aspects of Dentistry with a special interest in Smile makeovers, Composite veneers and Short Term orthodontics. He regularly attends postgraduate training courses to maintain and improve his skills.
Outside of the Surgery he enjoys football, golf and spending time with his wife Rebecca and young family.
Julianne Donnelly (Associate Dentist)
Julianne grew up in the local area and studied dentistry at Queen’s University, Belfast. After graduating in 1992 she completed vocational training before joining The Gate Lodge Dental Practice in 1994. Julianne is an experienced dental practitioner with a broad range of expertise who aims to put her patients at ease. She strives to provide high quality care for all and keeps up to date with modern dental techniques by regularly attending a variety of postgraduate courses. Julianne is married with two grown up children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym and cold water swimming.
John Mc Cambridge (Associate Dentist)
John graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1987. In 1993 he got the opportunity to purchase the Gate Lodge to the Belfast Castle which he renovated and relocated the practice to in the same year. He now works as an associate at the practice.
John provides a full range of both NHS and private treatments for all ages. He continually updates his skills attending regular postgraduate courses to ensure he provides a high standard of care to his patients.
In his spare time John enjoys playing golf, cycling and walking.
